Has The Threat To America Of A Repeat 9-11 Increased Since Hamas Assaulted Israel?

Simple answer…yes! They skyrocketed when Biden came into office and renewed the weak, pandering policy towards radical Islam that Obama initiated.

Having so recklessly diminished our security and squandered our sole-superpower role, every rogue nation itching to increase their position in the world has plotted and prepared to take advantage of our having turned in our Sheriff’s badge. Russia-Ukraine, China-Taiwan, NORKO missiles flying over Japan, the invasion of the West by the Third World, and now The Islamic Brotherhood/Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran’s move on Israel are all manifestations of Joe’s abrogation of our responsibility to maintain order.

Since 9-11 there have been 34 incidents of Islamic terrorism in the U.S. [1] 139 people were killed in these incidents, 506 people injured. If we were to add what happened on 9-11, of course, the numbers would be much higher: 3132 killed; 9039 injured. The number of incidents, perhaps even the deaths and injuries, on paper, may appear relatively small, but the horror of the Boston Marathon bombing, the mass shooting at an Orlando Nightclub in 2012, the 2015 San Bernardino attack…we all recall the images, overrides the numbers.

With all the illegal aliens Biden has allowed to swarm across our border do you have any doubt that “sleeper cells” of terrorists assembled in countless one-bedroom apartments in chaotic cities but also in bucolic suburban towns are real, not just bad guys in Netflix movies?

Now we’re on the precipice of World War Three. Have any doubts about that? What are the chances of the following playing out over the next few weeks and months?

  1. Israel commits the majority of their resources in Gaza.
  2. Iran gives the signal for Hezbollah to launch a full scale attack from the North.
  3. The U.S., facing diminishing weapons stocks increasingly redirects resources to Israel from Ukraine allowing Russia to prevail and directly threaten NATO.
  4. Iran successfully galvanizes the Arab world, uniting Sunni’s and Shia in Jihad against Israel.
  5. The U.S. is forced to support Israel with air resources.
  6. China, holding backa at the moment, moves on Taiwan.
  7. The U.S. is forced to put tanks, artillery, Patriot missile batteries and even ground troops into Israel.
  8. Israel takes out the Iranian energy infrastructure.
  9. Iran together with other Arab states declares overt war on Israel.
  10. Israel nukes Iran’s uranium enrichment sites.

There are myriad scenarios with these elements being war-gamed in the basement of the Pentagon and elsewhere around the Western intelligence planning centers and they all sound like they were made for MSM prime time, “if it bleeds it leads”, “follow the money” programming. In short, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, and with missiles and bombs flying, tunnel-rats gearing up and moving out, war ships mustering…we’re sitting on a powder keg.

At what point do the mullahs of the Islamic Brotherhood give the signal for those terror cells to simultaneously come out of the woodwork and attack our highly vulnerable soft targets: churches, malls, theaters, stadiums, schools, etc.?

Are you aware that there are nine power substations in American that, if destroyed simultaneously, would knock down the ENTIRE U.S. power grid for from anywhere between three months and a year? And do you know how vulnerable these substations are to conventional small arms attack from 2-3 man squads of terrorists, or to cyber attacks such as the one that brought down the Colonial Pipeline in July 2021? Do you know how relatively easy it is/would be to blow up vans full of explosives in the tunnels or on the bridges leading to Manhattan thus bringing New York to a screeching, panic’ d halt? Many of us have felt the disruption and pain of natural disasters like Sandy, Katrina, Isaias, Maui, etc. but even more of us felt the effects of COVID and of course, 9-11. But have you ever seriously considered the implications of a 3 month + national grid down situation?

With things as precarious as they are in the world right now, with so many of us going about our daily lives as if nothing was going on, with our guard so down… if you were a terrorist wouldn’t you figure this would be a good time to assault America?

I implore my readers to contemplate the situation and PREPARE as best you can for those awful consequences that would attend YOU if what’s going on in the Middle East and elsewhere escalates into full blown kinetic, cyber and psychological war.

Get help and advice from whomever and wherever you trust (I would NOT trust government resources – the cavalry didn’t come over the hill in the knick of time for any of the disasters I mentioned earlier), but remember:

It’s too late to plan and prepare once it starts happening, whatever “it” is!

Chaos – Ratcheted Up

In case you haven’t noticed yet, the chaos ushered in by the Biden administration just got worse. The implications of Iran/Hamas’ actions aren’t yet fully known, but they will no doubt be significant. I’ve been asked over the last 48-72 hours for my “take” on the events.

1. First, the global implications. It’s really quite basic. When the sheriff leaves town the bad guys have a field day. In other words, when the cat’s away the mice will play. Stupid aphorisms but, regrettably, true.

When the world’s sole superpower squanders its righteous dominance and relapses into a “can’t we all get along” attitude instead of pointing out right from wrong and acting in support of the former and against the latter…when we don’t enforce sanctions on evil empires…when we sleep with the enemy by continuing to engage in trade as if their malevolent acts are benign…when we don’t use our abilities to covertly and overtly counter the buildup of arms and other offensive capabilities in which they’re engaged… this is what we get.

Now the situation is so bad we may very well be on the brink of world war. I don’t say that lightly. We may actually already be in it. Technology having transformed EVERYTHING, it may not be so much as a boots on the ground conflict but rather a “my drone is bigger than your drone” kind of war.

Everyone is condemning both the U.S. and Israeli intelligence apparatuses for the surprise aspect of the Hamas incursion into Israel. The condemnation is justified, IMHO, due to the abandonment or at least decreasing reliance on HUMINT (human intelligence using people,) and increasing reliance on TECHINT (the use of technology to obtain and analyze intelligence). As I’ve stated often, “Artificial Intelligence” is just that, “ARTIFICIAL”. There is absolutely no substitute for eyeball to eyeball, belly to belly human interaction in developing and using intelligence. Its deficiency is why Hamas was able to pull off what it did.

With a destabilized world, morally bankrupt governments….check that… AMORAL governments, the “mice” will seek to take advantage. China really could invade Taiwan. North Korea really could start lobbing missiles. The Venezuelans really could invade Colombia. The countless enemies that have infiltrated America through our open border(s) really could launch coordinated attacks on malls, on our electrical grid, on soft targets around the country.

And Israel really could nuke Tehran.

In summary, my take is that the world is in a more precarious situation than it has been in my lifetime and we should ALL be preparing for the unthinkable.

2. Domestically, the Left has obviously infested all of our institutions such that “Bizarro-world” is where we now live. Alternatively, it can be said we live in a “post-truth” society. Again, IMHO, each and every one of us, and our families and true friends, need to prepare to become as self-reliant and independent of the government and all our other institutions as possible.

What do I mean by that?

I don’t mean we need to go live “off the grid” in a mountain cabin. I don’t mean we need to prepare for TEOTWAWKI or a complete SHTF situation. I don’t mean we need to start building bomb shelters (yet), but I DO mean we need to be prepared to suffer supply chain disruptions, for civil unrest, for extended power outages, for shortages of all kinds. We need to prepared to take care of our own health in the absence of adequate or effective health care provider, i.e. doctor and hospital support. We may even need to take the education of our children into our own hands.

 It also means we need to start drinking coffee from cups which are labeled, “No More Mister Nice Guy”. And we need to wake up and smell that coffee! In case you haven’t noticed, the Left are really really good at three things: in 1. “community organizing”, 2. in ignoring the rules as “the end justify the means” and 3. getting every one of their ilk to march in lockstep. The first includes beating conservatives and traditionalists to the nursing homes to harvest ballots. The second involves cheating, lying, stealing, engaging in fraudulent tactics. The third involves using high-production-value propaganda and mass-brain-washing techniques to prey on an increasingly dumbed-down, dependent, lemming population.

We have to fight back (and, as much as I hate to say it), use the same tactics. If the rules are that there are no rules, we’ll just have to play by the lack of them as well. If we have to recruit, bribe, cajole legions of young people to knock on doors and solicit votes/ballots, so be it. If we have to show up in great numbers at polling locations to demand, by force if necessary, that vote presentation, counting and tabulation are legitimate, then we must.

Either we wrest back the levers of power by bringing the Sheriff back both on the world stage and here at home as well, or else the chaos will result in the further destruction of everything we hold dear.

El Paso or Kyiv? It’s Not One Or The Other!

So in order to deflect the narrative away from all his failings here at home, Brandon makes a surprise visit to Kyiv. As an aside, Kyiv was, arguably the ancestral home of Russia, where the Varangians (Vikings) set up shop in the late 9th Century and became the capital of the “Kievan Rus” people’s progenitors, thus, Moscow can fairly claim some attachment to the City and to Ukraine as well.

But everything is political with the Democrats, and staged, and calculated to advance power or money. With national security questions surrounding the Chinese balloon, the Ohio train derailment, the continuing border crisis, the price of eggs, chicken farms going up in smoke, power outages, the latest COVID variant and of course wokeness in all its forms dominating the headlines and exposing this administration as the bumbling idiots they are, what better way to divert attention than with a war (remember “Wag the Dog”?) or better yet, a surprise trip to a war zone!

Bonus points to the Democrats for finding yet another way to divide our people. I’m watching/hearing conservative talking heads arguing vociferously for and against helping the Ukrainians. On the one hand, what business do we have spending godzillions of dollars defending a two-bit, corrupt country’s borders while we don’t even defend our own? On the other, how can we not defend them and the breadbasket they represent to our NATO allies and halt the advance of an adversary (enemy, really) seeking to expand its territory under the maniacal rule of a thug?

The reason we have the controversy at all is that the wokesters in power have so weakened our economy, our international standing and reputation, have so poisoned our internal discourse, have so fractured our society and understanding of foreign vs. domestic affairs, and have so “fundamentally transformed” us that neither we nor the rest of the world know where the hell we stand on anything!

While Trump boasting that this Russian invasion would not have occurred on his watch doesn’t burnish his image or reputation in my eyes, there is truth in the boast. It is not, however, because of Trump but because of the unmatched power and influence that America had when we were energy independent, had the border relatively under control, exhibited strength and adherence to traditional and conservative principles – all which we began to return to when Trump simply reversed the prior eight years’ “progressiveness”.

The choice doesn’t have to be between spending money at home or spending it abroad. While a tremendous amount of damage has been done by the dysfunctional adolescents in this Administration to both the United States and the balance of power in the world, all we would have to do is abandon the environmental gods and restore our energy independence, invest in our military, seal the border, and act like the sole remaining superpower we are instead of like a bunch of sniveling transgender, victim-celebrating losers who believe in the utopian fantasy that somehow “we can all get along”!

In other word, WE CAN DO BOTH, but no under this Administration! A trip to Kyiv by THIS President isn’t going to convince Putin to withdraw, or the Chinese to stop spying on us, or halt their Taiwan invasion planning, or the North Koreans from further developing their missile and nuclear technology, or the mullahs in Tehran to stop trying to figure out how they can wipe Israel off the map, or the Venezuelans from plotting how they can assimilate their neighbors, etc. etc.!

The chaos wrought by Biden and his Obama-inspired henchmen makes it impossible to predict what the outcome of this latest shiny object effort will be. The MSM are going to extol Biden’s ‘courage’ in the face of extraordinary danger (like Hillary coming under Bosnian sniper fire or similar nonsense) and continue to regurgitate the Democrat talking points, further confusing, dividing and pushing us all down the slippery slope.

Please keep your seat belts fastened, think skeptically and critically on EVERYTHING you read, hear or watch. We live in a Post-Truth world. Don’t parrot the media’s talking points from either the Right OR the Left. Ask yourself whether it makes sense, how it affects you, and PREPARE for a continuation of this Bizarro World.

Dignity, Honor, Majesty

Spent all day watching the Queen’s funeral. We often note how “no one does pageantry like the Brits” but they outdid themselves today, establishing a standard of excellence that may never be equaled. I texted my English brother-in-law sharing a selfie of my wife and me watching the ceremonies with the words underneath, “Words Fail”. Indeed they did. Only later did Extraordinary Dignity, Honor and Majesty come to mind and no more needed to be said. Once again, tradition, culture, custom and decorum were on display, as were the poignant scenes of thousands upon thousands of people heartfeltly honoring Elizabeth II.

I was struck by the deeply religious and reverent tone of the proceedings. Never in our own country would such a profound respect be given to religious belief in general, and Christianity in particular. Kudos to the British monarchy. Despite welcoming so many people of other faiths into their country, their steadfast allegiance to Christ and Church remain. England makes no bones about being a “Christian Nation”. Can you imagine Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or virtually any other politician other than perhaps Pastor Mike Huckabee openly proclaiming anything close to that?

The Godless Left in America have all but succeeded in banishing Christianity from government and virtually every state institution.

As I watched the profoundly touching and deeply emotional proceedings today I was once again reminded why it is that I am a Traditionalist. What we witnessed was grounded, solid. The order, precision, highest standards of excellence, TRADITION, exhibited by not just those who participated directly, but also by the British people, were exemplary and things of which they can and may always be immensely proud.

I am ashamed for those times I’ve not exhibited the grace and poise I should in the face of adversity, controversy, hardship, loss but I am grateful for the example once again upheld by the British Royal Family of how the privileged, blessed and called should comport themselves.

But it is Tradition like that adhered to today: heritage, culture, class, dignity, honor and majesty, that ALL human beings should aspire to.

Devolution

A friend of mine penned an email to me the other day that articulately summarizes the state not just of our nation but of the world. I reproduce it here in full (italics mine).

“Peter Zeihan (author of ‘The End of the World Is Just The Beginning’, a recommended read!) says that the world we knew in 2019 is gone and the post-Covid era will never be the same. Globalism, and the network of supply chains created in the past 50 years is fragmenting and will inevitably devolve into regional cooperatives of countries vying for fertilizers, food production, fuel, and the basics necessary to underpin civilized communities. Areas like Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia that have little or no food production and fuel sources may become hotbeds of civil unrest, starvation, and mass migration. And maybe that’s the best case.

Here, as inflation gets progressively worse and the costs of living and surviving get worse, it will undoubtedly lead to a greater chasm between rich and poor. We, too, may see civil unrest, for different reasons than those on the African or Asian continents, but unrest and lawlessness nonetheless. If the U.S. was the glue that held the world in check since WWII, the consequences of it turning inward to heal itself, may prove devastating for the world at large. I see this situation as self-inflicted by senseless policies, a government detached from reality, and priorities like climate change, that are divorced from the urgencies of today’s fragmenting world.

In all of this Biden and the Leftists dither in the world of gender pronouns and social justice while Rome burns. However, unlike Emperors before him, none now are held to account, and are destined to repeat the mistakes of the past. They never learn, or don’t want to learn.

I cannot believe the world we are in today; it’s the Upside Down and it is surely producing a generation of young that have a weak anchor to what is right or reasoned. Products of their time? Let’s hope not for all our sakes.”

There Is So Much Going On

that it’s difficult to choose what to write about. Once again I find myself running out of superlatives, pejoratives, adjectives and adverbs to describe the deluge/tsunami of BS saturating the airwaves, dividing our people more and more, exacerbating our laughing-stock reputation around the world, leading us down to a place similar to what Dante described in the Inferno.

First, top of mind, is the success with which the Left is dividing the Right into Trump supporters and Trump haters. I have good friends, solid conservatives, who have sworn they would never vote for Trump if he runs in 2024. The Left loves it. This is EXACTLY what they hope to do…split the Right so that in addition to their cheating, thievery, lawlessness and manipulation tactics, they will be able to somehow limit the losses this November and sew up the 2024 presidential contest. If you have any doubt about whether they can pull this off, just look at what they did to Manchin, to their own. (Oh, and by the way, I’ve never trusted Manchin as far as I can throw him. He’s political scum just like all the rest.)

Second, I heard Pelosi’s trip to Asia described as a “going out of business” sale. Nice! ANYTHING they can do to take the spotlight off their miserable failures at home the Left will do. Her trip is both a boondoggle and for show. Just watch the slobbering, tingle up the leg Leftists celebrate her “courage” and “standing up for America” nonsense. It’s disgusting to those of us who REALLY care about our country. It is a calculated political stunt, nothing more.

Third, if you’re not convinced that the COVID pandemic wasn’t/isn’t about power, control and money, you’re not paying attention and have been completed hornswoggled. The Left has so polluted/muddied up the information on this illness, its prevention, its transmission, the therapeutic responses, that you simply can’t believe ANYONE on this subject! Not your doctor, not the NIH, not HHS, certainly not the White House, not anyone in Congress, not any published discussion or exposé. I just wish you and your loved ones well as you cope. Wash your hands; don’t sneeze in other peoples’ faces or allow them to sneeze or cough in yours; stay home if you have a fever.

Fourth, inflation and what’s going on with our economy is affecting different people differently. I know plenty of well-to-do people who complain about $5 gas but whose lifestyles aren’t all that affected by it. IT DIDN’T HAVE TO HAPPEN. Trump and the Right warned that if we elected Biden we’d have open borders and the Green New Deal. We’ve got them, and we’re all paying for them to one extent or another.

Fifth, we on the Right are getting exhausted. We’re constantly spitting in the wind, trying to push back against the leftist BS leviathan, but we’re tired, and getting complacent, and just assuming that it’ll all be ok after November. No it won’t! This fight was a cold war before 2016, now it’s kinetic, gloves off, rules be damned… a street fight for the heart and soul of our country. Right now I find myself trying to encourage my conservative friends to not stop fighting, to stop coasting, to remain engaged, put up signs, call the Left out on their BS and like naughty puppies, rub their noses in what they’ve left on the rug that is our country.

I could go on and on. Good guys with guns stopping bad guys, the border completely out of control while “being closed”; monkeypox on the horizon; Fox News cancelling trump, the NY Post editorializing that Trump is a goner, a liability, useless; Biden covering over the failure of the Afghanistan debacle with the Zawahiri termination success (something which has been in the works for years and predates anything the Obama, Trump or Biden administrations have done) yet Biden says, “At my direction..” On that I once again throw the BS flag. Wokeness in the military, the continuing indoctrination of our children to accept biological and societal deviance and aberration as normal, the continued rewriting of our history, the assault on guns, the deep, deep, swamp filled with alligators and all sorts of noxious, deadly threats. What have we become? There’s no glossing over it any more…our country is a MESS and no amount of gaslighting and window-dressing is going to make us great again. The only thing that will is a complete and utter, humiliating defeat of all the disgusting memes, perversions, idiocies… downright evil the Left has been pushing.

Even without invoking God, the honest agnostic or atheist can see how wrong the Left is and how far down the slippery slope we’ve gone. We can either pray or just hope that there is enough righteous indignation left in our people that we will purge ourselves of this cancer before it takes our civilization down completely and irretrievably, to be thrown like so many other great civilizations on the ash heap of history.

Operation Overlord, i.e. the invasion of Normandy which actually began the night before on June 5th (or arguably, even before then) was akin to Gettysburg in that it marked the high water mark of the German hegemonic leviathan. Having walked the beaches and cobblestone streets of Normandy, peered over the cliff at Pointe du Hoe (aka Pointe du Hoc as it’s commonly known) navigated among steel obstacles on the beaches, and back in the 60’s spoken with numerous French resistance fighters who were there, I have a special place in my heart for the extraordinary event this was. If for some reason you have NOT seen it (Saving Private Ryan gives only part of the story) I strongly recommend the movie, now available colorized, called The Longest Day. It is based on the book by Cornelius Ryan which is one of if not the best account of what took place before during and just after the invasion. If you REALLY want to get into the details, I can also recommend the masterpiece, “Bodyguard of Lies” by Anthony Cave Brown, a 900+ page (but totally readable) story about the clandestine war of deceptions that hid the secrets of the invasion from the Wermacht and resulted in the Allied victory. In either case, June 6th is a day worth remembering just as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc.

With all of the flak (.sic) out there on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and with virtually every political faction trying to score points out of it, what is one to think about what is transpiring over there? Here’s my take.

First, some context. Either the United States is the epitome of freedom, democracy and the best hope mankind has to achieve and maintain peace and prosperity or it is not. Fundamentally, what underlies America’s greatness are its natural and human resources, and its founding principles. The former gives us our wealth. The latter is the electricity that lights the beacon on the hill.

To varying degrees jealousy, envy, ego, megalomania, greed, and power hungriness on the part of the rest of the world, and, regrettably, fundamental, evil intent on the part of some, underlies a constant desire to knock us down. The regimes of Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and Venezuela are all cases in point.

Why has Putin invaded Ukraine? Obviously, it’s a combination of the factors cited above. Totally predictable (and it WAS predicted). And totally preventable (as the previous administration demonstrated).

Deterring Russia (and the other rogue states) and preventing incursions such as those in Crimea, Ukraine and prospectively Taiwan and South Korea CANNOT BE ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT STRENGTH AND RESOLVE. Biden and the weak, woke, sycophants who surround him have neither. It is emblematic of just how stupid they are that they focus on climate change and LBGTQ issues in the military ranks and tout these as ‘leadership’ instead of focusing on the strengthening of our country, increasing our self-reliance, projecting freedom and democracy.

What is it about the Left that they think “we can all get along”, to quote Rodney King, that if we are just nice to everyone, they will want to be nice back? It must be part of their utopian fantasy that makes them unable to understand that the only thing the Axis of Evil/rogue states understand is STRENGTH. Biden’s complete capitulation to the Left has allowed their leaders to point to America and assert “See, they’re not so big and powerful.”

At the core, Biden’s obliteration of our energy independence was a monumental shooting of ourselves in the foot (or some other part of our anatomy). At best it was sheer incompetence on his part driven by the eco-fascist lunatics he’s surrounded himself with. At worst it was TREASON!

But making us once again reliant on imported oil and thus unable to turn to Germany and say, “Stand strong, tell Russia they can keep their oil and gas and we’ll supply you with all you need” has allowed Russia to place a Damocles sword over Western Europe. Without our RESOLVE and STRENGTH, Germany has no choice but to treat Russia with kid gloves!

THIS is what Leftist rule has wrought. THIS is the damage we predicted the Democrats would do to us after November 2020. THIS is what the money and ideology-driven media and tech companies have empowered them to foist on not just our people, but the world as a whole. When the sheriff leaves town, the criminals and bandits have a field day, and that’s what’s happening in Ukraine.

Some have noted that for us to have done more, i.e. placed boots on the ground in Ukraine, would have put us into another costly war. But stupidly, Biden telegraphed to Putin that America wouldn’t do that, and with that assurance, Putin was free to make his move. What idiot tells his adversary what cards he’s willing to play and not play? It’s as if this moron was holding his cards backward so that Putin could not only read them clearly, but Biden couldn’t either!

The answer to the question Blinken was asked the other day, “Why didn’t this happen under the previous administration?” is simple…because Biden knew Trump would take pre-emptive or decisive action if Putin were to make the kind of military moves he did right in front of Biden’s nose. It’s laughable that the Left’s answer to this question is “Because Trump, as Putin’s puppet, gave Putin everything he wanted without his having to spend any military or political capital.” What pure, sheer BS!

But that’s what the Leftist media do. They concoct the most absurd explanations and justifications and with the right intonations and incantations, with the right music and backgrounds on their sets, they convince a good number of unthinking, gullible Americans that Biden and his crew are righteously engaged in solving the world’s problems.

If you’re as sick of this administration’s idiocy regarding Ukraine as you are of the COVID mess, I suggest you take some Maalox or Pepto Bismol, as I do, and hunker down prepared for a lot more of this S-show to come.
