In February 2008 Michelle Obama famously said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country.” Setting aside for a moment the obvious anti-American undertone of that statement, I plagiarized/paraphrased it when her husband was re-elected in 2012 after continuing the Leftist destruction of everything we hold sacred and dear in America for four years by saying, “For the first time in my adult lifetime I’m ashamed of my country.” Today, I say “For the second time in my adult lifetime I’m ashamed of my country.” Many have echoed this sentiment in so many words, with accusations of treason and gross dereliction of duty being properly ascribed to the Puppet-in-Chief and his administration.

So, I address my blog post today to our friends in England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and all our other allies opposed to the march of totalitarianism, communism, socialism and abject Leftist idiocy across the globe.

Dear Friends and Allies,

Please understand that America is still the light shining on the Hill. Part of the cost of freedom is permitting idiots to from time to time obtain power and influence in our constitutional republic. It’s a high price to pay, but it’s worth it for the freedoms we enjoy here and those we’re hoping to preserve for you our friends around the world.

Know that the majority of the people in this country, (and among that majority I include the fat and happy, asleep, indolent, inattentive, dumbed down Democrats and similar morons who know better and who aren’t so hopelessly brainwashed that they can yet set aside their insanity and mental lethargy when tyranny and Leftism come to their doorstep), will fight for their freedom and by extension, yours.

The anger that is building among those who cherish traditional ideals is rapidly approaching a tipping point. I don’t know how this disastrous encroachment on our freedoms and traditional way of life will be arrested. The cancer that is Leftist ideology is so metastasized now that it will take us some time to stamp in out, but I do know that the silent majority in this country are waking up and speaking out. It’s evident in school board meetings, where Critical Race Theory is being exposed and will be eradicated. It’s evident even in the Leftist Main Stream Media (MSM) who are being forced to tell the truth about the incompetency and destructiveness of Biden and his administration. If you follow the money, you see that the patrons of CNN/MSNBC/NYTIMES/WashingtonPost etc. are increasingly throwing the BS flag such that the only way the MSM can retain their viewers and thus their advertising revenues is to admit the truth, and the truth, we trust, will keep us free.

So we ask you to be patient with us for a while longer. Aussies….keep protesting the tyranny you’re facing. Frenchmen and Germans, don’t let the fascists get you down. And our brothers and sisters in the U.K., know that despite the threat to your language becoming secondary in this country, we will continue to drink Guinness, celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, remember fighting side by side with you in so many conflicts, and honor the law and culture you landed on our shores so many years ago. (Just don’t ask to put extra o’s in words like color and honor.) And THANK YOU for saving Americans as you extricate your own countrymen from Kabul!

The Cuomo Canard

This isn’t about sexual harassment. The reason everyone is jumping on the “impeach/take down Andrew” bandwagon is about advancing the agenda, not defending victims. The Cuomo’s have always epitomized the Leftist political thugocracy. The outcry from the Left is manufactured just like every other meme they create. This one is about countering the Kavanaugh debacle and proving that they “listen to the women”. It’s about being able to say for the 2022 election, “See, we are consistent in demanding justice for women abused by Democrat men too!”

Do you honestly believe the Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, would give a rat’s you know what about the allegations against Cuomo if she weren’t under siege for being a worthless, weak-kneed, political hack AG unwilling to prosecute real crime but ready willing and able to vilify and demonize any conservative or Republican? Having polled her Leftist peers who, against their consciences, supported Cuomo after the nursing home debacle, and having determined that the groundswell against him on the sexual harassment claims was going to build, James ran for the microphone to declare her righteousness. The word had gone out…Cuomo was going to be the sacrificial lamb upon which the Democrats were going to in part depend for the 2020 congressional race.

Next up, law and order. The Left will come up with some new phrase, meme, slogan or whatever to prove to everyone how supporting they are of the police and law and order. They may have wounded themselves so much already that they might even attempt to reverse their idiotic border policy (especially now that they’ve let in hundreds of thousands if not seven figure numbers of illegal aliens).

For the Democrat Left, ANYTHING goes, and when they overstep, overreach, they of course blame everyone but themselves, and will use their skill at creating high-production-value lies and appearances to counter attitudes moving against them. Thus, they will eat their own, they will seek to create the illusion that they are the champions of the electorate, of the People, of the victims, or whatever else suits their immovable goal: The Attainment of Power and Control.

I had to write this blog entry immediately after watching the coverage of the “Cuomo Affair” yesterday and today. The story will vanish by the end of the week, and nothing will happen to Cuomo. The Left, particularly those who have already amassed considerable power, like Cuomo, know exactly how to run out the clock. They know how to weather the storms and wait out the news cycle change. While they have always blamed the Right for Wag the Dog-like sleight of hand maneuvers, it is they who practice that art so skillfully.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some other “crisis” is manufactured shortly to put the Cuomo affair in the background. Murders on the streets of New York City (which has the added benefit of rubbing Cuomo’s nemesis De Blasio’s nose in the excrement he’s deposited on its streets), perhaps the appointment of a new Border Czar, something having to do with the COVID Delta variant or the new resistant fungus…something will pop up and Cuomo will still be in office, unscathed and untouched, a week, maybe a month from now.

And that’s good. He can serve as a poster boy, typifying what’s wrong with the Left.

I sense, and it’s only a feeling, that the Left’s departure from sanity and the damage it is doing to the country is oozing into the mainstream media. With CNN’s numbers plummeting, the money will dictate that they have to come from the Far Left towards the Center, and as THAT happens, as Fox continues its move to the left, as more and more Newsmax’s and OANN’s arise, things will gravitate to where America really is: Right of Center.

It may take a generation, and the pendulum swing could be accelerated by another major, 9-11-like crisis, but I’m sensing that more and more of America is waking up and starting to recognize the Leftist BS for what it is. Soccer moms now aware of the crap being taught their kids, people fed up with the mask/no-mask, vax’d/not vax’d idiocy, rank and file workers being whipsawed by politically driven, employer compliant, woke policies that are telling them that it no longer pays to work hard, everyone seeing the price of milk and gasoline inexorably rise… increasingly the main stream media will HAVE to cover the “victims” of the Leftist lunacy, and the pendulum will swing the other way.

Hang in there America.

Polls = Nonsense

Please everyone, flip the switch, turn on your brains, put your shields on maximum. The next time you see or hear something like, “The Polls show…” immediately turn it off. Polls are unadulterated nonsense and if you’ve been a faithful reader of this blog you’re not hearing anything you don’t already know. However, it seems the use of polls to create headlines and “news” is reaching an unprecedented decibel level.

Here’s a recent example drawn from the Daily Wire, August 2, 2021.

I have the following questions and proffer some answers:

  • Should anyone care? The answer is “No.”
  • Do polls mean anything, even when they reflect what is obvious to everyone who has half a brain and is awake? “No.”
  • Have YOU ever been polled? Most likely, “No.”
  • Would you agree to participate in a poll if somehow you answered the phone and uncharacteristically gave a pollster enough time to introduce himself? Most likely, “No.”
  • So who is it that participates in these polls? Common sense says it’s people who don’t have anything better to do with their time, are so lonely or affected that having some disembodied voice pay attention to them for five minutes is therapeutic, people who have an agenda that they think will be advanced by participating, or some combination of the above.
  • Can polls possibly represent the productive Traditionalist majority of this country? “No.”

Anyone awake, intelligent, half-way educated, paying attention knows that the Biden/Harris administration is TRULY illegitimate, incompetent and megalomaniacal. The whole lot of them, the puppets and their puppet masters are not just useless for America, they’re systematically trying to “fundamentally transform” it into a centrally-controlled, collectivist faux-utopia where the few dictate the lives of the many. Where money and power are amassed for their pleasure, narcissistic gratification, conscious or unconscious evil intent.

My advice: whenever the word “poll” is mentioned, simply dismiss the rest of the discussion and go back to whatever of substance you were doing.

PSYOP

A Psychological Operation or PSYOP is one which conveys information and indicators that are intended to influence audiences (enemies in military parlance) in one way or another. The information may be true, selectively true, deliberately false, surreptitiously false, deliberately vague or misleading, intended to incite behavior of one sort or another…you get the idea. We’ve all seen enough movies that involve PSYOPs in the plot to understand what it is. Applying the term to what the Left does may seem inflammatory, but perfectly describes what they’re doing.

I’ve referred previously to the term “production values” as the elements of a message that when skillfully put together evoke strong emotions: heart string pulls, angry reactions, deer-in-the-headlights behavior, etc. Those elements include everything from powerful rhetoric and diction to mood music, visual effects, other “special effects” coupled with the gazillion-watt amplification of social and main-street media, and the allure of money and power that unfortunately drives so much of human behavior.

Production values are a key component of PSYOP. And it works on both sides of the ideological aisle. Go ahead, click on msnbc.com I just did and this is what comes up, among other things:

I place both these sites in the category of what I call “PSYOPs for Money”. These are profit-seeking entities both using PSYOPS to stir their readers/audiences to frequent and patronize their sites so they can maximize advertising dollars.

But what about the PSYOPS that are NOT seeking profit but are intended to mislead even the most plugged in, most savvy investigators, not to mention the public at large. Remember that graphic we saw last November depicting data flowing around the world, supposedly proving that Hammer and Scorecard were used to steal the election?

This and the accompanying data was a fundamental element of Mike Lindell’s exposé “Absolute Proof”.

Turns out, the analysis was provided by a huckster with a checkered past named Dennis Montgomery. (For a full explanation of this whole affair, read the reporting by Gateway Pundit here and here.) Among other skullduggeries Montgomery swindled more than $100k out of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. We still haven’t found out who paid (if anyone) Montgomery to create this narrative, but some day maybe we will.

I am of the firm belief that both Mike Lindell and Joe Arpaio (and Sydney Powell, Michael Flynn, Tom McInerny and others) are among many ardent patriots who were and are trying to get to the bottom of what happened last November 6th. No sane, critical thinking, reasonably objective person believes that Basement/Addled Joe legitimately won 81 million votes.  But my point is that there is so much PSYOP produced information and misinformation out there that we still have not been able to prove without a doubt, or at least prove sufficiently such that it would stand up in court, all of the fraud and shenanigans we rationally believe stole the election for Biden.

And this is what the Left cleverly and evilly want – they can’t prove the election was legitimate so they’re aim is to delegitimize any honest inquiry concerning its illegitimacy by creating CHAOS. THAT, I submit, is exquisitely executed PSYOP.

Unfortunately, as a result of the Left’s success at creating chaos no justice will prevail concerning the 2020 elections for president and the two Georgia senate seats. Admonitions that “the Truth will prevail” represent wishful thinking. It may, but not likely in our lifetimes. Historians will someday, I pray, look back on this episode with conviction that the elections of 2020 were the most corrupt in U.S. history. But the chaos has been so effective that “truth” has gone the way of moral relativism. It doesn’t really exist at all in the minds of many!

So where does this leave us?

1.            The old maxim, “You can’t believe everything you read or see on television” still holds true.

2.            We must stop echoing what we “wish” to believe. Even if true, the general public, including persuadable independents and democrats with brains, don’t want to listen to chest-pounding and angry epitaphs from the Right. It just turns them off.

3.            The Left won’t listen to facts or reason, of course, but at this point that other old maxim, this one from Napolean is also wise: “Never interrupt the enemy when he is making a mistake.” I believe the Left has, characteristically, overplayed their hand and are starting to make complete fools of themselves. Let ’em do it.

4.            Finally, we MUST, on the other hand, selectively throw the BS flag on what the Left is spouting. Be careful not to expose just how pissed off you are about what they’re doing. Rather, let the Leftist you’re talking to think you’re either a Leftist yourself or independent and simply ask questions. Scratch your head and ask, for example, “What do you think the implications are of letting in all these illegals through the Southern Border?” Resist the temptation to rip your debate opponent’s head off, but firmly call out their nonsense. And when they devolve into calling you a racist (as they will inevitably do) just express concern and sympathy that your antagonist is suffering from the psychological disorder called Projection. It will both belittle him or her, although I hasten to point out that Leftists are impossible to shame because as collectivists their hive-minds deflect any sense of it, but pointing out their illness will make you feel better as you walk away. Alternatively, you can play the “I know you are but what am I?” children’s game. Either will probably enrage them and at that point, you can also feel good about having kept your own cool and having won the debate.

As an aside, I want to refer my readers to a couple of articles that I found helpful and instructive. The first, How to Fight the Left Effectively, discusses in so many words how PSYOPS have prepared the battlefield for the conflict we’re engaged in, and how not to get conned. The other, The Six Steps To Dealing With Liberal Friends And Family written back in 2008, ( a decidedly different time ) deals with how to walk softly when dealing with Leftist friends and family.

Finally, as I have been preaching since the Spring, don’t be lulled into thinking that the Truth Cavalry is coming or that people will be going to jail for the treason they’ve committed against the country, or that you and your buddies are going to “suit up” for a REAL insurrection. Rather, keep your powder dry, your heads in the game and on a swivel and continue to educate yourselves, using critical thinking to see through the PSYOPs. That, and GET INVOLVED locally. Don’t just stand there and gripe. DO SOMETHING to push the pendulum back the other way like those courageous parents are doing at school board meetings in Loudon County, or Tatiana Ibrahim in Carmel, NY (if you haven’t seen this, you MUST, it’s truly inspiring!)

Time For A National ID

I know, I know…the intrusiveness, the “Big Brother”, Orwellian, fascist aspects of national identification have affronted freedom-loving Americans since the concept was first conceived of. However, we now have in America millions…I repeat…millions of non-citizens/illegal aliens living and working and taking advantage of us, and the number is growing by the day. Because we are a rich nation, the burden is spread out among us all, although I hasten to add it is far greater on some than others. How do we deal with this ever-increasing problem? Regrettably, and perhaps tragically, call it a “forensic audit”, call it an “honest headcount”, call it what you will, we are rapidly approaching the point where every individual within our borders must be able to PROVE, without ambiguity, that they are here legally. And equally important, voters must be able to prove they are citizens!

The Left, of course, wants to simply make everyone a citizen so they maximize their voting block and thus their power. It cannot be overstated how nefarious the Left’s intentions are. They care little about either the illegal aliens or the people on whose shoulders their burden falls. They care first and foremost about their power. If you have any doubts about this, you’re either completely brainwashed and gaslighted, blind, dumb or simply asleep and probably should stop reading right here.

We already have a national identification system. It’s called a U.S. Passport. It also comes in the form of a U.S. Passport Card issued by the Department of State and is the only federal document that certifies the citizenship of the holder aside of course naturalization papers, certificates of citizenship, etc. which are not meant to be carried on one’s person and which should be sitting in safe-deposit boxes or carefully secured! Even the Real ID feature of driver’s licenses, while more or less* authenticating the legal status of the holder, doesn’t unequivocally authenticate the citizenship of the holder. A non-citizen, foreign national, legal resident, for example, can obtain a Real ID star on his or her driver’s license.

* I say more or less because the documents that must be presented to obtain a driver’s license in some states are easily obtained or forged and do not unequivocally include proof of citizenship! While Real ID may go a long way to demonstrating LEGAL STATUS, it doesn’t mean one is qualified by citizenship to VOTE! (If someone can prove me wrong on this, please do so. Only then will I concede that Real ID substitutes for a U.S. Passport as proof of citizenship!). Certainly, merely presenting a driver’s license DOES NOT!

What the Left are trying to brainwash the entire country into believing, and, unfortunately, many on the Right keep parroting, is that voters need to present ID to vote. WRONG! Voters need to present PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP to vote, and it’s abundantly clear that voter rolls, signature verification and the mail-in ballot process don’t even begin to qualify as certifying the validity of the vote by a CITIZEN.

Back to the “forensic audit” and related initiatives to restore integrity to our vote and reliance on our founding principles… As draconian and Orwellian as it will appear, we’ve gotten to the point where the Left has so putrefied the LEGAL immigration system that we MUST find out who is here and once and for all deal with the sovereignty of our nation! This calls for a comprehensive, multifaceted plan: 1) an HONEST census not just asking who’s living there but legal status as well (and don’t tell me we can’t do that…the current administration is fine to have people show up at your door to cajole or browbeat you to get the vaccine if you haven’t had it!!!) ; 2) It’s not just a matter, however, of figuring out who is here illegally…it’s also having a humane plan for dealing with those who are demonstrably illegal residents/aliens whether through deportation, temporary worker status, or any of many other possible outcomes and 3) federal law that gives authority to law enforcement to demand proof of legal status any time, any place with CONSEQUENCES for those who can’t provide it, 4) elimination of electronic verification, collection and counting of voting ballots, elimination of harvesting and all the other tricks of illegal voting, restoration of voting exclusively in person on election day by paper ballot, signed and authenticated, certifiable mechanisms for permitting mail-in-voting exceptions (such as military overseas).

Of course the WALL must be completed. Of course border patrols and protection must be drastically beefed up. Of course law enforcement will have to not just be “refunded” but increased many-fold and meticulously trained in preparation for such a program. Of course the Left will have to be muzzled (.sic) and bound to prevent their inevitable histrionics, pushback, open violent revolt (REAL insurrection).

It will be ugly, messy, fraught with problems and to have any hope of succeeding while preserving what’s left of our constitutional principles, it must be done by legislative means, meaning once the Democrats are removed from power. Next year the Right must take back the House and Senate, and by the Right I also mean replacing any unprincipled, wishy washy professional politician Republicans who are “in it” as a career, or for the power, prestige, or pecuniary benefits rather than true allegiance to their oaths to defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. From 2022 through 2024 the Leftist agenda must be brought to a screeching halt. If the Right is able to obtain super-majorities in Congress, the process of planning and instituting National ID can go forth immediately. If not, then the planning can at least be undertaken in earnest so that it can be implemented in 2024 (2025) when the Right will once again hold both houses and the presidency.

We are losing our country to the Leftist/Globalist cabal and mob and we really have two choices: either continue to surrender our national identity, heritage, traditions, everything we hold dear to them, allowing our freedoms to increasingly be eroded and tyranny to take over, or “gird up our loins” and establish a different kind of “RESET” – one which purges our country of the evil being unleashed upon it and restores the principles and values that made it the most free and greatest nation the world has ever known.

The Left will of course whine that the institution of a MANDATORY national ID is the essence of totalitarianism, and to some extent it touches on tyrrany. But the alternative, as we are already seeing, is far worse. Once a national ID is instituted and the illegal residents of our country dealt with (and again, I emphasize that the consequences of being here illegally will range across a whole continuum from amnesty to deportation), the basic principles of our republic can be re-invigorated, “re-set” if you will, such that we can restore that which served to do the most good for more people on this earth than any other system in history.

Led By The Nose

I just had to react to a couple of events that clearly illustrate how inept, incompetent and weak the Biden administration is. They truly can’t see beyond two inches in front of their noses. They are reactive in all things. Two cases in point: Kamala Harris, faced with being completely rendered insignificant and worthless by Trump’s planned visit to the border, schedules a trip to EL PASO, 1,000 miles away from where the REAL problem is. She’s already blown it. She’s already insignificant and worthless. Second, faced with the rapidly increasing crime rates in major cities due to HIS and his party’s stupid policies, Biden reads a worthless speech on crime prevention from the White House that is so lame even dumb-downed Democrats roll their eyes as he tries to stay relevant. But, out in front of the cameras and his teleprompter he goes so that he can kowtow to the Leftist media and the sycophants trudging along behind him as he short-steps away form the podium. And, as usual, his spokesperson (Psaki) utterly fails in her attempt to blame Republicans for the worsening crime statistics.

These people are vile. They care about one thing and one thing only: POWER. As more and more people wake up to the fact that the Democrats are willing to sacrifice and are sacrificing the well-being of the nation, its people, its principles, its pre-eminence and exceptionalism so as to garner more of it (HR1 and S1 being the most obvious examples)…as Biden THREATENS the American people by saying that to take on the government the people are going to need F-15’s and perhaps a nuclear weapon or two (WHAT PRESIDENT SAYS THAT????) the more the greater the backlash will be until a REAL insurrection takes place!

Makes you wonder who is really pulling the strings behind the scenes. I’ll venture a guess that it’s one or two or maybe a handful of people with a nefarious/evil agenda in mind. I say that because Democrats by nature are lemmings/sheep who follow anyone who can tug at their heart strings, coerce them to follow, demagogue them to exhaustion, or simply promise them utopia (with a catchy pop song to accompany it all). Conservatives and Traditionalists, by way of contrast, are individualists by nature and they will not run off the edge of the cliff (like Democrats are wont to do) just because someone commands them to. Thus, it only takes one or two mouthpieces, memes, phrases, speeches, no matter how peurile, no matter how ridiciulous, to get Democrats to go along and repeat the words and mimic the behaviors of their central casted, in full makeup and wardrobe (e.g. aviator sunglasses) so-called “leaders”.

However, if enough nonsense and destruction by the Democrats is exposed…if enough idiocy and incompetence and stupidity is laid bare for EVERYONE to see (e.g. a poor old man falling 3x (3x!!!) up the stairs of Air Force One or a ridiculous, cackling waste of oxygen spilling verbal diarahhea from her mouth), some, not all, but some Democrats will go silent from embarassment and either vote conservatively/traditionally or stay home and note vote at all. Either way, we have a chance to take back our country from the grips of these lunatics.

Joe Biden Is Wrong On Everything

The following letter was sent by one of our readers in Pennsylvania to his senator and representative in Congress and is reprinted with permission. It reflects the anger of so many of us and is spot on!

Dear Senator Casey and Representative Houlihan:

What a disaster! Joe Biden continues to be wrong on everything, just like he’s been for 50 years!

He campaigned as a moderate but has ruled as an ultra-liberal. He claimed to be bi-partisan, but has governed by partisan executive order.

He’s wrong on the border and Pennsylvanians are paying for his incompetence with increased crime, depressed wages for legal residents and citizens, increasingly crowded medical care facilities, destruction of our sovereignty.

He is wrong on the Palestinians; they are Iranian backed terrorists and to support them is to support the world’s most prolific sponsor of terror.

He’s wrong on Iran, and he will be responsible when they get a nuclear weapon which doesn’t necessarily mean a nuclear warhead tipped intercontinental ballistic missile! How about a dirty bomb set off at Independence Hall?

He’s wrong on unions- just like the New York Times Op-Ed page being dismissed as passe, so are unions. There is now a government agency for everything they fought for. And they are more corrupt than the government. Either eliminate unions or get rid of all the government agencies doing the unions’ work. This goes particularly for government employee unions. What could be more corrupt than unions bargaining with themselves – that’s what public sector unions do by definition!

He’s wrong on the economy! We don’t need any more stimulus. We haven’t even spent what has been approved, and more money will just further stoke inflation. Unless you’re blind, just look at the price signs on gas stations and the cost of a half gallon of milk! I remember paying 12% for a mortgage – when the Fed runs out of options, we’ll be paying that and more for money!

He’s wrong on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Russia can have pipelines to our allies increasing their influence if not outright making Europe further beholden to them, but we can’t have the Keystone XL pipeline?

He’s wrong on fracking. So much for helping Pennsylvanians.

He’s wrong on electric vehicles, just like Obama was wrong on solar. Funny, he was always “Amtrak Joe” until he wanted to curry favor with the auto unions, now he’s a car guy??? What a hypocrite!

When are you going to stand up for the people you represent and who PAY YOUR SALARIES? You do not work for Pelosi or Schumer! You work for us! Now represent us, not your corrupt, power-hungry left-wing cabal in Washington!

A Trip Through The Heartland

I’ve just returned from a week-long road trip through Virginia and North Carolina. Getting out of the Northeast for a few days was like surfacing after holding my breath under water. People in the Shenandoah Valley, in the mountains of western North Carolina and the Outer Banks were, in a word, NORMAL. They were friendly, focused on their jobs, families and communities, and with rare exception, vocally angry about what the Left is attempting to do to our country.

I’d estimate people were split 50-50 on wearing masks indoors. Outdoors, few people wore them.

In bars and restaurants, behind hotel lobby counters, hardworking managers and staff were scrambling to meet the needs of patrons. Universally, the latter were patient and understanding.

Spring had sprung. The farms on each side of the highways were green, calves nuzzled their mothers, corn and other fields were plowed ready for planting. We had great weather and the open, blue skies, the clean air, cool mornings and evenings and warm days were a balm.

As we drove, we kept tabs on the news on SiriusXM. Same old, same old. The (expletive deleted) Left continued to pursue their utopian dream of permanent power, the politicians preened for the cameras and microphones proving, once again, that “all the world’s a stage”, and the media, ALL media, in unison jawboned about whatever was bleeding at the moment (“if it bleeds, it leads”). We frequently turned it off after hearing the “headlines”, so jarring was the contrast between the idyllic countryside through our windshield and the drivel emanating from Washington, New York and other major cities.

I couldn’t help sighing to myself, “What will become of this wonderful country?” I thought of my children and grandchildren…what their lives have been like over the last year, and what they might become like in the future. I spent a good deal of time thinking about one topic in particular…the effect “tech” has and will have on our lives.

Remember when word processing was supposed to make life better? And email? Ask yourself, “Has it really done so?”

What about the Internet in general? Has it really brought the world’s knowledge to our fingertips and made life better for all, or has it done more harm than good? 

Again I ask, “Has tech improved society and the world, or made it worse?”

It depends, of course, on what we value. If we value instant gratification, search engines and overnight delivery have certainly changed things for the better. But if we value faith and family and the rewards of applying the Golden Rule, tech has, in my humble opinion (IMHO, .sic) been tremendously deleterious.

As I drove, I alternated between hope and despair. There is a war on, similar in some ways but different in others from any that has been fought before. It is, IMHO, an existential fight for the soul of western civilization. As I have suggested many times over the years, the United States, and by extension, the western democracies who follow the Judeo-Christian ethics and traditions are either going to follow the path to extinction that other great civilizations have followed or arrest the rapid decline we are witnessing and restore sanity and reliance on the immutable principles and traditions that have brought the greatest good to mankind through all generations.

You may scoff at such a sweeping and draconian encapsulation of our times, but when one is driving for hours and hours a day one has time to step back and view the environment differently than one does when faced with the daily grind.

The fight is exhausting. I’d like nothing more than to put on some classical music, wade into my library, curl up in my easy chair, and escape. Even as I write this, I’d rather be pursuing some of my many hobbies.

But I must continue to speak out, warning and goading and cajoling in hopes that others with youth and greater energy can and will take up arms in this fight and turn back this onslaught of Leftist cancer… by supporting those who are on our side, by leaving our comfort zones and entering the political arena (such as running for school boards), by speaking not in hushed tones but boldly against the garbage spewing forth from corrupt politicians, corrupt media and brainwashed sheep, by countering the misinformation and outright lies being taught to our children (Critical Race Theory, 1619 Project, transgenderism, etc.) with family sit-downs in which parents demonstrate to their children that they, in fact, know far more than their teachers do about the real world and instruct them accordingly.

Sit back and let this tsunami of Leftist rot wash over and consume us and our civilization will indeed be destroyed and displaced by other intending hegemons (e.g. China). Fight now, each and every day, and we can turn back the tide and restore it to one which will allow our posterity to thrive in peace.

So, Was the Election Stolen?

As we pass the 100 day milestone of the Puppet Presidency, and our worst fears of the damage the Left would do materialize into an almost daily atrocity, I am saddened to hear and see a level of acceptance on the part of some on the Right that what happened in the November 2020 presidential and January 2021 Georgia Senate runoff elections was NOT due to fraud and cheating. I’m distressed that solidly conservative individuals whom I respect and admire attribute the losses to a multiplicity of factors, among them Donald Trump’s rhetoric and personality, and dismiss election fraud as a determining factor. I find it very unsettling that any suggestion today that fraud caused the outcome is poo-poohed by some smart conservatives as the product of mindless, knuckle-dragger conspiracy nonsense. Even Right-leaning journals and media outlets have adopted this attitude either implicitly or explicitly.

Over the last several months I have read and studied countless articles and watched countless videos on the subject examining both Left and Right arguments. There is no point in trying to rehash the case for fraud here. Others far more articulate and smarter than I have already done so. I want to appeal, however, to my conservative/traditional friends who are willing to let bygones be bygones to revisit their views.

I want to share just one example of what the Left offers as an answer to the question of whether the presidential election was stolen or not. It is a quote from Herman Wallace, former Electrician, Foreman, Gen Foremen, & Superintendent at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union:

“Nope, they (the Democrats) took the Presidency the old fashioned way.

They ran a much better candidate.

They worked much harder.

They spoke to the issues that matter to the people.

The Democratic candidate got 7 million more votes.

The Democratic candidate won the Electoral College with 306 votes (A landslide according to Donald Trump).

On the other side of the ledger:

Trump was a remarkably flawed candidate and got worse as the campaign went on.

Besides his frothing-at-the-mouth campaign rallies and throwing red meat to his base; Trump was a lazy candidate.

Trump’s “issues” were the same old lies from his first 3 years.

Trump lost the popular vote by twice as much as before.

The 5th bullet point speaks for itself.

There was something STOLEN in this election, it was the trust, of a segment of the people, in the basic function of their government. Trump not only stole it, he decimated it without cause or remorse.”

Leaves me breathless and fuming…I can’t even begin to respond to such rabid BS.

Yet, there are Republicans, conservatives and Traditionalists who echo many if not all of the same delusions!

Again, this post is an appeal to those who are willing to let the water keep flowing under the bridge and over the dam to ask you to revisit your conclusions about the legitimacy of the elections. I urge you to find sources that YOU believe to be credible. For my part, I rely on thinkers/writers/institutions whose comments on the election are available from the following links like Jonathan Turley, Alan Dershowitz, The Heritage Foundation (see section on Election Integrity).

However, the most sober, thoughtful and objective discussion of voter fraud in the presidential election and by extension the Georgia runoff elections I’ve discovered amidst all my research was that provided by Professor John Eastman, scholar of Constitutional law and Senior Fellow at the Claremont Institute in an interview at the Steamboat Institute on April 10, 2021. The full interview can be found here. It is 53 minutes long, and while my attention span is very limited, I watched all of it with rapt attention. He addresses ALL the things that we’ve heard about from the shrill Left and the angry Right: vote spikes, unilateral changes to the election laws by other than the state legislatures, the rejection by the courts of the many challenges on procedural grounds, the Supreme Court’s unwillingness to intervene, Dominion voting machine issues, etc.

If you my readers after viewing the above-mentioned video have any doubt that the “election was stolen” I have a bridge I’d like to sell you, or some Game Stop stock.

Finally, for those of you who still question whether there is evidence…no, let me rephrase that…SUFFICIENT evidence to challenge the legitimacy of the elections, I call your attention to this reference. One might not be happy with all the citations, nor the impact of bias on the sources, but taken as a whole, in my opinion it DOES provide more than ample documented, empirical evidence of fraud and a stolen election.

Now we have to hope and pray that more honest people will take hold of the levers of power and make the changes necessary before the 2022 election.  If we can take back the House and Senate in November 2022, we just may be able to halt this lurch to the extreme Left and maybe even get rid of some of the cancerous rot perpetrated by this illegitimate and toxic administration.

And for my part, I STILL want to see the forensic audit results of the November 3, 2020 and January 5, 2021 elections! Only then will we have the ammunition required to correct the historical record and judge what happened in 2020 fairly.

Tell Me Again Why You’re a Democrat?

I’m sick of listening to Leftists lazily and endlessly repeat the phrases, labels and talking points they heard on the morning main street media news. I have neighbors around me who say truly stupid things like (and I’m paraphrasing closely from an actual, recent conversation) “I don’t subscribe to all the racism charges leveled at Dr. Seuss, but there are a couple of books that could be considered racist.” Yeah, right. “If I Ran the Zoo” is racist? Not then, not now…it’s absolutely ridiculous!

I get very angry when confronted by Leftist imbeciles denigrating all the things I value and hold dear and in the heat of the moment, it takes all my energy to keep from lashing out. Besides, with all the adrenalin coursing through me during one of these exchanges my usual glibness fails me. So I remain silent or neutral because I actually CARE about what I say. Afterwards, I often think of things I wished I had said.

Instead of having a ready supply of pejoratives to hurl at these cancer-carrying fools, I’ve come up with a number of questions that are only a little less confrontational. (Maxine Waters, I’m just following your admonition!) To wit:

  • Why would you want to be a member of the REAL racist party? It’s not the Republicans who practiced slavery in the South, enacted the Jim Crow laws, promoted eugenics, segregation and formed the Ku Klux Klan of which their leader Robert Byrd was most recently a member. It wasn’t Republicans in California who expanded mass incarcerations, which predominantly affected blacks, it was none other than Kamala Harris. On the other hand, it was the Republicans who freed the slaves, who supported the 1964 Civil Rights Act in greater proportions than the Democrats under the four years of the Trump administration, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians…all were lifted economically. Why would you want to be associated with and celebrate as your leaders race baiters like Maxine Waters, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Ilahn Omar, etc.?
  • Why would you want to support leaders who don’t care about YOU or minorities or anyone or anything else but POWER. This is plainly exhibited in their push on HR1 which would be defacto the ultimate vote-stealing initiative. More importantly, HR1 is the epitome of racism – it plainly exposes the attitude of Democrats that poor people and minorities are too stupid or incompetent to get id’s when id’s are required to do just about anything today? Read the Bill!
  • Why would you want to be a member of a political party that can’t tell the difference between boys and girls, men and women? Who want to redefine human nature because they think it will benefit them politically? Why would you support people who are in favor of sex change operations for children and who want you to introduce yourself and ridiculously add “and my pronouns are…”?
  • Why would you want to be a Democrat when the Democrats preach “progressivism” but behave in virtually every way like true totalitarian fascists, doing everything and anything: cheating, stealing, lying, deceiving, bullying, cancelling, ignoring any truth or reality that contradicts their agenda, who think we must wear masks that REAL science shows are ineffective, not get together in churches and on July 4th with our families while you go into the grocery store or COSTCO all the time? Who want to confiscate not just your earnings but your wealth as well in order to doll it out to people whose political support and votes they believe they can curry?
  • Why do you insist on listening to, believing and parroting “narratives” crafted from focus groups and lazily repeated over and over as talking points by an admittedly dishonest Leftist media looking only for viewership and ad dollars while avoiding and suppressing the truth? Example? The Russian Collusion nonsense. The bases for both the first AND second impeachment efforts. The narrative that we should take two weeks to “bend the curve”. Most recently the editing out by NBC of the fact that the 16 year old girl in Ohio was about to stab another girl and repeatedly ignored the police officer who demanded she stop. Oh, and edited the 911 tape to remove the part where the caller screams the girl “is trying to stab us!”
  • Why would you want to support a Party that stupidly promotes defunding, “re-imagining” or eliminating the Police? Can you think of a more idiotic position to take? Yet, that’s what the Democrats are pushing.
  • Why would you want to be a member of a Party that wants no national borders so anyone at any time can just waltz across and receive tax supported handouts?
  • Why would you want to support Democrat sponsored environmental programs and legislation that won’t do a damn thing for “saving the planet” but will line the pockets of Green people and Green businesses but all the while allow the biggest polluters on the planet, the Chinese, to continue to pollute at will and impose draconian restrictions on America while turning a blind eye to those on, say, Europe. Oh, and who forget 6th grade science class where we learned that CO2 is not a pollutant but what plants use in photosynthesis to live and grow, and RENEW the breathable air on the planet! Do you really fall for the tripe that “CARBON is evil?” Guess what, carbon is what we’re made of!
  • Or maybe you subscribe to the “Can’t We All Get Along” utopian fantasy where everyone is granted a basic income, which of course is nothing more than a redistribution of wealth from the productive to the unproductive. Or where all nations are dissolved into a New World Order under a Great Reset ruled by a bunch of elitist, holier-than-though, self-proclaimed and condescending experts who will tell you, as they did in the European Parliament, what society as a whole can and can’t do. Some examples:
  • Limitation on balloon usage. According to EU rules from 1988 children under the age of 8 can not use latex balloons without a supervising parent. And text on the latex balloons must have such a warning on them.
  • Whistle blowers, that scroll out into a long colored paper tongue when sounded have now been classified as unsafe for all children under 14.
  • Eurocrats ban small fruit.  “The diameter of the fruit is a way of measuring its maturity/development. Fruit grown organically or conventionally have to reach a certain degree of maturity in order to have a reasonable chance of satisfying the consumer.” – who is the EU to tell Europeans what satisfies them? Is it any wonder the relatively sane Brits said enough and seceded from the EU?

It’s this same kind of stupidity and tyranny that permeates every piece of Democrat legislation.

  • Why would you want to vote for an administration that will relax the sanctions on the world’s greatest sponsor of terrorism, Iran, and allow them to with impunity move forward rapidly on their nuclear weapons program?
  • Why is it that you Democrats squeal that no one should have guns, when you know damn well that when seconds matter, the police are only minutes away. Or that if all the 400 million plus guns in the U.S. were eliminated on Monday, there would be hundreds, perhaps thousands of guns circulating by Friday, and they’d be in the hands of criminals who, knowing you are unarmed and only defended by social workers (.sic), wouldn’t think twice of breaking and entering your home, place of work, or place of worship to rob or hurt you?
  • And why would you vote for and want a sadly demented, corrupt man who never had a real job in his life, who is nothing but a marionette whose strings are being manipulated by imbeciles and woke, lying, anti-american idiots like AOC, and professional political megalomaniacs like Pelosi and Schumer, and the worst kind of behind the scenes operatives like Susan Rice and now Obama, to be the President of the greatest nation the world has ever known?

Shall I continue? I could go all day pointing out the stupidity of what the Biden and Leftist Cabal are trying to do to “fundamentally transform” America. Into what? Into a sniveling bunch of recycled, quiche eating, limp-wristed, merlot drinking 60’s hippies staring at their iPhones while sitting around a campfire with terrorists trying to strike up a rendition of Kumbaya?

  • Or maybe you’ve been brainwashed to believe that we ARE a nation of racists, of colonialists, of exploiters of the earth, of knuckle-draggers bent on killing off minorities and gentle people?

All politics is abhorrent to me, and both the Left AND the Right say and do despicable things, but the vast preponderance, I repeat, the VAST preponderance of shenanigans, deception, falsehoods, hypocrisy, rules-for-thee-but-not-me attitudes, power-addiction, anti everything that made this nation great behavior and rhetoric is exhibited by Democrats. It’s not even close.

I’m very sorry for you. You have to be either asleep, willfully ignorant, too adolescent and subject to peer pressure and emotional blackmail, too dependent on their handouts, too brainwashed, or just plain stupid, to be a Democrat.

So tell me again why you are?
